At CrossFit Medford, we believe fitness is about more than just physical strength — especially for kids. Our Youth Classes, held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3:30 PM, offer a safe, fun, and encouraging space for young athletes to build confidence, discipline, and resilience that lasts far beyond the gym.


Yes, our workouts are active, challenging, and fun — but what makes these classes truly impactful is how they help kids grow into themselves. Whether it’s learning a new skill, working as a team, or showing up on a tough day, our youth athletes build a sense of accomplishment that fuels self-esteem.

They learn to set goals, celebrate progress, and most importantly, to stick with something — even when it feels hard.


🏃‍♀️ Supporting Sport & Everyday Strength

CrossFit-style training is a powerful complement to traditional youth sports like soccer, lacrosse, football, and basketball. Our program helps kids:


  • Build strength and coordination

  • Improve speed, balance, and agility

  • Reduce injury risk by learning safe movement patterns

  • Gain mental focus and resilience — great for practice and game day alike

Whether your child is already active in sports or just starting to explore movement, these classes provide a strong foundation for both performance and long-term health.


🧩 Structure + Support = Success

Each class blends structure and play. Coaches guide kids through age-appropriate workouts that build skills and burn energy, all while making sure form and safety come first. There’s no pressure to “win” — instead, we focus on effort, improvement, and encouragement.


This shift in mindset helps our young athletes build healthy habits and a positive relationship with fitness, starting early.

For many of our athletes, CrossFit Medford is more than a gym — it’s a place where they feel seen, supported, and part of something bigger. It’s a space outside of school or traditional sports where they can explore what they’re capable of, celebrate each other's wins, and just be themselves. We've seen shy kids find their voice, energetic kids find their focus, and every child walk out a little taller than when they arrived.

🎃 Fall in Medford Is Full of Fun — In & Out of the Gym

As we head into the fall season, it’s a great time to get kids moving and engaged — both in and out of the gym. Alongside our youth fitness classes, the Medford community has some fantastic family-friendly events coming up:


  • Johnson’s Corner Farm Fall Harvest Festival
    Enjoy hayrides, pumpkin picking, and a corn maze just minutes from our gym. A great weekend activity for families!

  • Medford Scarecrow Festival
    A fun stroll through Main Street with scarecrow displays, crafts, and fall treats — perfect for kids of all ages.

  • Apple Festival at Kirby’s Mill
    Celebrate all things fall with apples, local vendors, and classic seasonal charm — a nice blend of history and fun.
