CrossFit Medford was started in 2011 by Dave and Kristen Miller, who fell in love with CrossFit in 2008. They had finished their athletic careers and jumped back into the normal gym routine. After becoming insanely bored with that, someone pointed them in the direction of CrossFit.com. Little did they know that their lives would change forever. They opened CrossFit Medford and it quickly became an extension of their family. They are proud of the welcoming environment that has been created by the people who make up the community at CrossFit Medford.

Dave Miller

  • Level 1 Certified CrossFit Trainer

The sport of wrestling was Dave’s choice sport and he has competed ever since the age of 4. He owns Wrecking Crew Wrestling, where he continues to coach the next generation of wrestlers. Dave began doing CrossFit in 2008, after completing his college wrestling career. His coaching journey started in 2011 when he and Kristen opened CrossFit Medford. Dave has helped hundreds of athletes achieve their goals of improving their overall fitness levels. He prides himself in teaching proper technique and seeing people move correctly. He loves coaching and seeing the impact it can make on someone’s life.

Kristen Miller

  • Level 1 Certified CrossFit Trainer

Kristen has been an athlete her entire life. Her competitive spirit and constant pursuit of “finding the next best thing” has lead her to CrossFit. Her husband, Dave introduced her to CrossFit in May 2009, where she was instantly “hooked”.  
Kristen was exposed to many sports growing up but found her love for swimming in High School. Basic training wasn’t enough, Kristen, was willing to put forth the extra effort to be the best athlete she could be. She started weight training under the direction of Joseph Hallman, who transformed her athletic ability. Her passion towards nutrition and weight-training are still qualities that are reflected in her every day lifestyle. 
Kristen is excited to teach and change the lives of those exposed to CrossFit. She finds no greater accomplishment than seeing others achieve their fitness goals.

Carla Mercurio

  • Level 1 Certified CrossFit Trainer

Carla found CrossFit in 2010 and fell in love with it. She recognized the undeniable results and the community it fostered and dove right in. She has been a devoted athlete ever since. Carla never played team sports but immediately following college she began pursuing a more active lifestyle.This led her to begin training for her first marathon and subsequently stumbling upon “the sport of fitness.” CrossFit has had such an impact on her life that she wants to take it to the next level and work to inspire others. Her passion for seeing others go through a similar transformation inside and outside of the gym, both mentally and physically, drives her.

Beth Pulaski

  • Level 2 Certified CrossFit Trainer
  • Level 1 CrossFit Gymnastics Trainer
  • Level 1 Burgener Strength

Beth has played sports all her life, from youth basketball to Division II rugby. She began Crossfit shortly after her third child was born and loves how several years later it still continues to challenge her. In addition to training, Beth also enjoys training others. Besides coaching Crossfit, she has been coaching track and field since 2002. She loves helping young athletes build a strong foundation and develop a lifelong love of fitness, and she loves helping athletes of all ages reach their fitness goals.

Lee Ann McLoughlin

  • NPTI Personal Trainer

Lee Ann’s been an athlete from an early age, engaging at competitive levels throughout her life, excelling at gymnastics. She’s passionate in helping other establishing good habits through fitness and nutrition and motivating people to reach their potential.
As an ATC, Lee Ann has had plenty of opportunity to treat and rehabilitate injured athletes. Being a CrossFit Coach has given her the new opportunity to be on the preventative side of the spectrum as well. She believes strongly in CrossFit’s methodology and is inspired to share her knowledge, skill and benefits with others. Lee Ann has found her passion in CrossFit and committed to being the best version of herself!

Steve Pratt

  • Level 1 Certified CrossFit Trainer

In the spring of 2013 Steve was approaching 270 lbs at the age of 39. Frustrated with finding an exercise and nutrition program that excited him and kept his interest, he decided to try Crossfit Medford. Steve was hooked after the first workout and hasn’t looked back. The group workouts and family environment is what drives him to keep coming back for more. After many months of exercise Steve learned that proper nutrition was missing from his plan. Dave and Kristin were able to steer him down the nutrition highway and by the spring of 2014 he had lost 60 lbs. Steve has competed in numerous 5K’s and 10K’s, sprint duathlons, outdoor challenges, 4 half marathons and 1 marathon. In 2018 Steve decided to get his Level 1 Trainer and join the coaching staff. 

Sam Stripko

  • Level 1 Certified CrossFit Trainer
  • Level 1 Burgener Strength

Sam started doing CrossFit in 2013 and was hooked the minute she walked through the doors of CrossFit Medford. She loves the atmosphere and is inspired by the amount of hard work our members put in day in and day out, which led her to earn her CrossFit Level 1 certificate. With a positive attitude and a pleasant demeanor, Sam has always had a way of encouraging and elevating other athletes. She is excited to help people attack their goals.
